In the year of 1592, a couple men named Shamma Ding and Lamma Dong were wondering aroung the country of Iceland for a place to build some houses to start their lives. They came across the town of Reykjavik and thought it was beautiful so they decided to start building there. They started telling others about where they began building their houses and how beautiful the land was. Within the next couple of months people starting flowing into the city to build their houses too.
England was in charge of the government and the people that kept moving in thought their system of government was bad they wanted to change it and fight for independence. After they won their independence, the people voted on changing the name of their society Shamma Lamma Ding Dong after the men who founded it.
